This is why I do not recommend lifting with equipment that places you outside of your natural range.

I hope Gene is okay and the torsion to his wrist did not cause any severe permanent injuries. I know right about now he is thankful for his prnator quadratus!

wow, that is scary even if you have perfect spotting, hopefully he is ok....i wanted to slap the shit out of the announcer saying he's going to give it another shot immediately after the incident

I hope Gene is ok. HHH wanted to slap the announcer as well when asked if he was going to try it again. Of course Steve Wong dropped 832 and came back 10mins later to hit it.

Dave i so agree with gear and people lifting out of their natural range. I have a feeling injurieds like this will become more and more common

According to the forum over at Monster Muscle, Gene was released from the hospital with 3 broken ribs and a bruised liver but walked out on his own and said he is "ok".

This update is only for the non haters, if you are still choosing to hate on him please disregard.
